A range of newly developed components elevates the performance of the PureTen GP 4WD V-ONE R4 to a new level. In the world of 1/10 GP touring car racing, the PureTen is the first choice for many drivers participating in various events, including the KYOSHO CUP. Based on the V-ONE R4 Evo.2, the new Evo.3 integrates a host of new components from the 2023 Evo.3 Chassis Conversion Kit as standard equipment. The new main chassis features a redesigned front bulkhead and an updated stabilizer bar, as well as a fixed, center-mounted, one-piece motor mount that optimizes chassis flex and reduces unpredictable cornering behavior. Modifications to the receiver and battery holder improve chassis roll characteristics and simplify battery changes. Of particular interest: The V-ONE R4 Evo.3 is designed to be compatible with both foam and rubber tires. The kit includes a clutch compatible with the OS-12TG engine, with optimized clutch springs for rubber tires for the KYOSHO CUP and clutch springs for foam tires for open races. Additionally, front pulleys and damper springs for both rubber and foam tires are included. Building upon the internationally proven racing reliability of the V-ONE R4 Evo.2, the overall performance of the V-ONE R4 Evo.3 has been optimized to not only provide a competitive edge but also satisfy the most demanding drivers.
1/10 GP touring car, specially designed for racing.
Improved performance through the integration of components from the Evo.3 Conversion Kit as standard equipment.
Newly developed Evo.3 main chassis with balanced left/right flexibility.
New one-piece Evo.3 engine mount, now centrally fixed.
Two types of clutch springs are included. The clutch is ideally suited for the OS-TG12 engine.
Two types of damper springs are included, suitable for rubber tires or foam rubber tires.
Newly developed front stabilizer in a rod design.
Integrated side pulley shaft to protect the silencer from damage in collisions.
Universal front and rear drive shafts for high efficiency and reliability during driving.
Hard-coated pillow balls.
The kit includes a clutch suitable for the OS-12TG engine, with optimal clutch springs for rubber tires in the KYOSHO CUP as well as clutch springs for foam tires for open races.
The newly developed aluminium main chassis, the one-piece motor mount and the stabilizers take the racing performance of this 1/10 GP touring car to the next level.
The Evo.3 main chassis offers optimal rigidity with moderate flexibility. The centered motor mounting screws compensate for left/right flex and ensure smooth, balanced cornering.
The redesigned front bulkhead allows the use of rod-type front stabilizers. Steering response can be fine-tuned by changing the wire diameter.
The newly developed one-piece Evo.3 engine mount uses two centrally placed mounting screws that compensate for left/right flexibility, thus ensuring better control.
The clutch is ideal for OS (Ogawa Seiki) 12TG engines. It contains separate clutch springs for rubber tires and foam tires.
The new battery holder is made of black fiberglass, is lightweight and very rigid. Receiver and servo batteries are attached to the holder with adhesive tape, which can be easily removed for maintenance.
To accommodate different front and rear gear ratios for rubber and foam tires, front side pulleys with different belt modules are included. This allows the gear ratio to be adjusted depending on the tire type.
SP brake pads are now included as standard equipment (optional on the previous model). They offer reliable braking performance, even with powerful engines.
Hard-coated pillow balls, used in steering systems, oil pressure shock absorbers, stabilizers, etc., ensure smoother movements with increased reliability.
