Kyosho Mini-Z MR04 EVO2 Chassis Set (N-MM2) 4100KV -V2 Gyro Unit

At the end of 2023, the Mini-Z MR-04EVO2 underwent a complete model change after 14 years. Building upon the proven layout of the MR-03, the MR-04EVO2 received a sensor-equipped brushless motor, revised front suspension, and a lower-positioned battery – a significant performance boost. Now, the MR-04EVO2 is receiving another major update with additional improvements. Equipped with reinforced 2.0 front suspension arms from the RWD series and now standard with the widely used gyro unit set, the updated version 2 gyro offers an optimized balance of stability and cornering precision, enhancing both racing performance and driving feel. Another key innovation is the new RC unit with motor speed control (RPM), which allows for precise tuning – crucial for racing, as the Mini-Z Cup rules will switch from KV to direct RPM control in 2025. The MR-04EVO2 fully supports this system and can be easily adapted to the respective class via the ICS Setting Manager.

A dedicated CPU is integrated into the gyro board, enabling extremely precise control. The increased processing speed significantly improves response time and eliminates performance losses at high gain. This next-generation gyro delivers outstanding stability and maximum curve precision.

While retaining the strengths of the MR-03 layout, the MR-04EVO2 chassis achieves significant performance gains thanks to its new front suspension and lower center of gravity. Narrow and wide track widths are adjustable, as is the wheelbase for different body styles.

The new front axle design with integrated kingpin improves camber stability in corners. Revised geometry ensures linear and precise steering response.

The new axle knuckle design with integrated kingpin and 3 mm ball bearings reduces friction and improves smooth running.
