The legendary Tamiya Hornet returns – in a spectacular, artistic design by Jun Watanabe . This exclusive special edition combines a striking black-and-white polka-dotted body with vibrant pink tires , a purple chassis , side panels, and bumpers. White shock springs, pink 4mm wheel nuts, and special pink/purple gradient decals make this model a true collector's item.

Besides its unique look, the Hornet remains true to its off-road DNA: a robust, easy-to-maintain chassis, proven Tamiya suspension technology and a sealed gearbox make it ideal for beginners, collectors and fans of classic RC models.

The Jun Watanabe Hornet is based on the well-known 2WD buggy chassis:

  • Swing axle front axle – classic 80s driving characteristics
  • Rolling Rigid Rear Suspension – with oil dampers for better traction
  • Sealed gearbox – protects against dirt, with durable 3-bevel gear differential.
  • 3-piece rims, front & rear
  • Grooved tires front / studded tires rear – including additional set of black tires

This combination offers retro-style driving fun, but with reliable Tamiya technology.
