Infinity IF14 Speciale — The ultimate touring car MEGA set for all track conditions

Concept & Background

The IF14 Speciale is not a further development , but a completely new platform , developed in Europe by a team of true racing legends:

The goal: to redefine the touring class without compromise – with maximum performance, uncompromising precision and innovative engineering.

Construction & Materials

• Aluminum core: Prototyping and series production of the aluminum components are carried out entirely in Italy → maximum precision & rigidity.
• Centering system for shock towers: front and rear with central one-screw fastening → fewer parts, less weight, faster maintenance.

Chassis & Tuning

• Chassis options:
  • Standard 2.2 mm carbon for optimal flexibility
  • Additional 2.0 mm 7075-T6 aluminum for high-grip tracks → perfect balance between flex and stability.
• Top deck variants: Front / Rear / Wave designs in 1.6 mm or 2.0 mm → precise adaptation to different flex characteristics.
• Wishbones: Standard (soft) & Hard version (stiffer with identical geometry) → no set-up change necessary.
• Composite wheel hubs: soft or hard → fine-tune the vehicle feel depending on grip and driving style.

Drive & Gearboxes

• Diff & front axle: 7075-T6 ERGAL, untreated → maximum efficiency, durability & high-quality appearance.
• Two gear ratios as standard:
  • 40/22T → FDR 1.818 (smooth steering in high-grip conditions)
  • 38/20T → FDR 1,900 (direct response on tight layouts)
• Option: Low-friction pulleys for additional efficiency.
• Center pulley: Four integrated bearings → smooth running & stability.
• Motor mount: Machined from solid aluminum, optimized for maximum rigidity with minimal weight.

Focus & fine-tuning

• USP damper (Ultra Short Profile): extremely compact design with full functionality → ultra-low center of gravity layout.
• Balance & weight distribution: optional additional weights at strategic points for perfect handling.
• Motor mount flex: steplessly adjustable (1–4 screws) → precise control over chassis stiffness.
• Torsion shims:
  • 3×4×0.1 mm → more flex
  • 4×5×0.1 mm → more rigidity & clamping pressure

Chassis stiffening & damper technology

• Carbon reinforcements: targeted positioning for increased lateral stiffness and consistent performance.
• Damper springs: Progressive or linear characteristic curve for maximum adjustability.
• Stabilizers: CNC-machined, different stiffnesses front/rear → precise balance fine-tuning.
