1. The FD kit provides additional torsional deflection of the vehicle at the location where it is installed.

2. The FD kit provides adjustable damping of the chassis deformations caused by torsional flexure.

The damping level of the FD set is adjusted by the choice of silicone oil inside the damper and by the choice of the pivot point on the arm of the FD rotor.

The FD kit is recommended for track conditions where the extra flexibility of the suspension is needed - typically these are bumpy tracks with low traction and when your existing suspension is too stiff for the given conditions.

Recommendations for the starting fluid in FD - 50K...100K silicone oil.

The method of filling the oil is the same as the A12 rear shock - add a few drops of the oil to the bottom of the AM282, keep the AM282 upright for a few minutes until all the oil reaches the bottom of the cavity, slowly and forcefully insert the DT251 all the way into the AM282, and use a needle to ensure the excessive oil outflow.
